The Fishery

The original Triangs Ponds date back more than 500 years to a time when they formed part of the Royal Tench Ponds on the Manor of Hatfield.  After several decades of neglect the current owner decided to restore them to their former glory.

Kingfisher Pond
Extending to approximately 1 acre, one of the original Royal Tench Ponds with an approximate depth of 4 ft.  Currently utilised on a members only basis and stocked with Carp to 20 lbs, Tench to 6 lbs, Bream to 5 lbs, plus plenty of Roach and Rudd, Ide and Koi.

Heron Pond
Second of the former Royal Tench Ponds which is linked to the established Willow Pond.  Extending to approximately 1 acre, features a good stock of Carp from 1 lb to 22 lbs, roach, Rudd, Ide, Skimmers, Crucian Carp, together with quality Tench to 10 lbs, (35 lbs Plus Pike), Chubb to 5 lbs.

Willow Pond
Constructed in 2001, the lake extends to approximately ¾ of an acre and has 27 pegs, making it an ideal venue for a small club event.  It has varying depths between 6ft and 9ft, plus an attractive island feature and is linked to Heron Pond.

Mallard Lake
Constructed in March 2008 this lake extends to approximately 2 acres and has 55 pegs.  It is stocked with mainly Silver fish and some Carp.

The Fishery Business

The fishery has been run on a low key basis for a number of years and there are no audited accounts.
